BAM Allstars began in 2009, when I was looking for a dance class for my son, Buster, who has Down Syndrome.  Finding there was nothing suitable for his needs, I decided to get something started, and now, 7 years on, here we are - BAM Allstars All Abilities Inc.  We are not Down Syndrome specific - we are open to people of all abilities, and ages 2.5 right through to adults.  It is our mission to continue to grow and develop new creative and performing arts programmes for people with disabilities.  The work we do is a passion and a privilege -

We currently offer weekly "BAM Allstars" dance classes and "Allstars Drama" in a number of locations, with more classes and locations envisioned for the future.  We teach modern dance technique in a fun, welcoming environment, and we provide a social framework and sense of connection which promotes friendships and community involvement. 
We offer a free trial class, so feel free to come along and try us out!  Just call or email to book in.

Qi Gong

QIGONG For Health and Happiness

The ancient healing art of Qigong is a wonderfully effective way for you to cultivate physical strength and flexibility, deepen your breath capacity, reduce physical and emotional stress, and ease mental tension. There are no special requirements or prerequisites for this course, however please let me know of any medical condition that may prevent your full participation or is of concern to you and your doctor.

Join Sal Prothero from Whole Food Nutrition for an interactive workshop where you will learn about food as medicine.  We will cover nutrition basics, the most important nutrients needed for good health, food labelling, stress and lifestyle, skin health, digestive health and much more.  We will also have a health and wellness guest speaker at the last class.

Self Defence Classes

Self Defence for Women and Men


Self-defence based on the basic fundamentals of Bujinkan Martial Arts optimises the concept of self-protection through martial training. This Martial Art deals with not only the protection of the physical body, but of the mind and spirit as well. It does not rely on speed, power, strength or techniques, but develops a way of moving that allows the practitioner to prevail. It is therefore highly effective for women and people of all ages and abilities.


Classes are run by 8th Dan Sensei Rachel Wellington who has been training in Martial Arts for the past 10 years. Sensei Rachel has travelled to Japan on multiple occasions to train with Hatsumi Sensei and the top Japanese instructors. Since 2010 Sensei Rachel has been a senior instructor at Bujinkan Ninjutsu Melbourne Dojos headed by 15th Dan Shihan Matthew Weygood.


Cost $20 per lesson for Members.

Every Tuesday Night 7:45pm till 9:15pm

This fun and interactive program teaches parents about their child's development (ages 0-10), presents ways to improve communication and understanding and assists parents to manage their child's behaviour. Each course runs for 4 weeks with two time slots available:

Angel Arts Classes  a unique Neuro-movement program for people with Disabilities.

The program has many therapeutic elements and incorporates visual and performing arts practices which is used as a set of tools to engage students in a fun and co-operative group. This encompasses dance sequences, narratives, exploration of strengths and self-regulation. Using music and visual props supports the engagement of young people in artistic self - exploration providing a focus in relation movement and connection to self to others.

Neuro-movement Dance practices help people to be self- motivated and develop and explore their own creative impulses. It also encourages self-discipline by following directions for a series of movement patterns, directions and levels.  0419544216

Strength for Life


A low paced exercise class using small hand weights and leg cuffs based on a scientifically proven weight training program as described in Miriam Nelson’s book STRONG WOMEN STAY YOUNG. The  classes will teach you to become stronger by altering your fat muscle balance and stimulating your bones to retain calcium. In addition your flexibility, posture and energy levels will be noticeably improved.

You will learn the basic features of your device, how to download and navigate your apps and browse the internet for information. you will find out how to store contacts and send and manage your Emails and discover it is a great way to keep in contact with family and friends. you will also learn how to import, edit, tag adn send photos to your friends. You will also be able to complete and return forms online as well as manage your banking and pay bills. you can even plan and book your next holiday!

Clinical Pilates


Increase your “core” dynamic spinal stability with this floor Pilates class. Improve your flexibility, body control, sporting performance and ability to do daily tasks with ease.
